Introduction |

Milastin
is a quality product with New Activator technology which
efficiently colonizes the soil and foliar surfaces of
plant. The product improves the biodiversity of soil
and foliar surfaces. This discourages growth of undesirable
pathogenic organisms.
The
useful organisms in Milastin are naturally occurring
competitive bacteria which efficiently utilize the available
food and function by producing enzymes. The naturally
occurring useful bacteria are cultivated and acclimatized
by a novel process in state-of-art stainless steel fermentation
plant. The novel process ensures batch to batch uniformity,
quality and potency. Milastin has been approved for
organic farming by NOCA, [APEDA]

liter of Milastin contains 1011 viable spores of Bacillus
subtilis [KTS 1015] - powerful antifungal activity and

Mode of Action |

The
bacteria, Bacillus subtilis, and B licheniformis are prevalent
in soils and have been found in a variety of habitats worldwide.

Milastin
is available in 100ml, 250ml, 500ml and 1 liter HDPE bottles.
The product has to be used with new activator provided.
Milastin
is applied as foliar and soil spray @ 2ml/lit of water. The
product can be applied at 15 days interval. Milastin can be
applied at all stages viz- vegetative phase or flowering and
fruiting [pre-harvest interval is not necessary]. Best results
are obtained by using nonionic stickers. Thorough coverage
is essential for optimum result. Spray in the evening or late
afternoon to create conditions favorable for germination of
spores in Milastin.

Compatibility |

Milastin
is compatible in tank mix concentrations with standard products
such as copper, sulfur, lime, micro-nutrients, insecticides,
fungicides and some herbal extracts. It is compatible with non-ionic
stickers or surfactants. |

Environmental Impact |

Milastin
is exempted from residue tolerance tests. It easily suspends
in water and does not leave any spray deposit on leaves or fruits.
Growers can resort to Milastin to meet "residue free"
food standards and organic food. Milastin is compatible with
organic and conventional agri-systems. It is non-toxic to beneficial
such as earthworms, birds, fish, insects, mites and other non-target
organisms. It is safe for farm workers and can be used up to
the day of harvest. |
