Quik Kompost contains spores of Aspergillus spp, Penicillium spp, Chaetomium spp, Trichoderma spp, Paecilomyces spp, Streptomyces spp, Bacillus spp and Azotobacter spp as a dynamic formulation.

These microbes when added raw compost heap, germinate to produce hyphae or cells .The fungi grow on solid surfaces same as roots grow in soil. These cells produce an array of powerful enzymes like cellulases, proteases and amylases. Directions for use

Mix 1 kg of Quik Compost with 50 kg of farmyard manure and 10 kg of Rock phosphate. Add 10 litres of water to make the mix damp. Carry out mixing in shade. Cover the mixture with porous gunny bag. Keep for 4 to 5 days and use this mixture for 1 ton of raw compost.

N.B: It is better to carry out composting in pits, or windrows (heaps) instead of straw directly inocorporated on fields as dried carboniferous plant wastes may deplete the soil nitrogen and affect the growth the plants.

Enrichment of Compost
Compost can be enriched if Phosfert @ 100ml ton of raw material .It can be added after the temperature of the material is below 40oC. Addition of Phosfert improves the nutrient content of compost and accelerates composting further. The available "N" and "P" is high in Phosfert inoculated composts.
